Candidates must be flexible to work weekends as needed by the unit. The facility is a Magnet and Teaching Center. The total staffed beds are 637. Typical daily census is between 10-15 patients. Candidates should have experience with trauma level patients. Experience with various mechanical ventilation settings is necessary. Responsibilities include performing pulmonary hygiene and managing respiratory therapy for various patient diagnoses. Other essential skills include tracheostomy care, interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), and emergency response procedures. Candidates will be required to float within the facility as needed. Strong clinical and interpersonal skills are essential for collaboration within interdisciplinary teams. Candidates should be able to manage high-pressure situations effectively. This role requires problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills related to patient care. Continuous professional development and education are encouraged within the facility.
