We prefer to promote from within and provide an upfront career path to all new employees.The Auto Glass Technician is responsible for installing and repairing auto glass on a variety of vehicles. This includes windshields, side and rear windows, and mirrors. The Auto Glass Installer must be able to work efficiently and accurately to ensure that all installations and repairs meet the highest standards of quality and safety.ResponsibilitiesMeasure and cut auto glass to the appropriate size and shape for installationClean and prepare surfaces for auto glass installationRemove and dispose of old auto glass according to safety regulationsInstall new auto glass, using adhesives and other materials as neededInspect installed auto glass for proper fit and finishRepair chips and cracks in auto glass using specialized repair techniquesMaintain clean and organized work areaFollow all safety procedures and regulationsMaintain correct certifications for the roleHelp order the replacement windshieldsSkillsPrevious experience as an auto glass installer or related field preferredKnowledge of auto glass installation and repair techniquesAbility to read and interpret technical instructionsStrong attention to detail and ability to work accurately and efficientlyGood physical condition, as the job may involve lifting and carrying heavy objectsJob Types: Full-timeBenefits:401(k) matchingEmployee discountPaid time offFirst time home buyer assistanceHealth insuranceDental insuranceEmployee assistance programFlexible scheduleSchedule:Monday to Friday 8-5pmLicense/Certification:Driver's License (Required)
