Job Title: Quality Assurance Analyst - ConsultantLocation: Columbia, SC (Hybrid - 4 days onsite, 1 day remote) - Only localsInterview Process: 1 Round (Virtual/In-Person)Candidate Location: Must be a South Carolina resident (No relocation allowed)Overviewseeking a Quality Assurance Analyst - Consultant to support its Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) modernization program.This role is part of a large-scale transformation initiative aimed at improving healthcare outcomes through innovative systems and processes. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in software testing, healthcare/Medicaid domain, and SDLC processes, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, change-driven environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform functional, regression, and user interface testing to ensure application reliability and stabilityDevelop and execute test plans, test cases, and QA/UAT processesMaintain traceability between requirements, design, and test casesAnalyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams for resolutionDesign and implement manual and automated testing scriptsParticipate in defect triage, retesting, and validationCreate and maintain QA documentation, reports, and status updatesSupport negative testing and usability testing for applicationsEnsure adherence to QA standards, governance policies, and best practicesConduct reviews, walkthroughs, and inspections to ensure quality complianceCommunicate testing progress, issues, and risks to stakeholdersRequired Skills & Experience5+ years of experience translating business requirements into test cases and scenarios3+ years of experience in healthcare operations, preferably Medicaid domainStrong ability to track, analyze, and report defects and testing statusExperience with test design tools and methodologiesHands-on experience in manual and/or automated testingStrong understanding of SDLC processes (Waterfall & Agile)Excellent communication and analytical skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience with Azure DevOps, JIRA, and Confluence5+ years working in large enterprise or e-business environmentsExperience working in Agile and Waterfall methodologiesPrior experience in government or healthcare projectsEducationBachelor's degree in IT, Business, Healthcare, or related field(or equivalent experience)
