The program s strategy supports significantinnovation in MMIS thinking and mindset and is aligned with MMIS innovation at the nationallevel as wellRoles & Responsibilities:Responsible for performing tests on technical solutions to isolate and solve issues. Initiatestests, analyzes results, and finds solutions to technical problems.Develop test plans, QA and/or User Acceptance Testing processes and test cases forproduct management and software development teams.Develop and maintain SDLC traceability from test cases to requirements anddesigns/software componentsDesign and support user interface testing of applications and regression testing.Test software applications for reliability and stability.Implement testing programs to perform quality assurance on technical applicationsincluding negative testing and usability.Design and/or run automated testing scripts with oversight for deployment of testsParticipate in defect triage, retest, and resolutionCreate quality assurance documentation and reports as requiredAdhere to established software testing governance policies, best practices andguidelines and recommend improvementsPerform reviews, walkthroughs, or inspections and adhere to established governancestandardsREQUIRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):5 years translating business requirements or policy documentation into test cases and scenarios; building test cases and scenarios into test systems3 years deep knowledge of healthcare operations (preferably Medicaid), business processes3 years should be able to communicate and publish status reports of all open issues and gaps found during test phase and articulate the details to the Development teams3 years direct hands on experience with formal test design toolsREFERRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):5+ years large enterprise or e-business systems experience.3+ years proficient in use of manual or automated testing tools such as Azure DevOps or Atlassian JIRA and Confluence3+ years prior experience working in a standard SDLC (waterfall methodology) & in an AGILE delivery
