The position supports new menu creation and rollout, menu item costing, tracking labor and food costs, and oversees culinary production. It ensures consistently excellent food is prepared correctly, presented attractively, and served promptly to enhance our guests’ and owners’ vacation experience.Essential Duties And TasksTrain junior team membersLead creative menu enhancements, including costing new itemsAssist management with tracking food and labor costsRead food orders (written or verbal) and prepare multiple dishes simultaneously according to recipes and specificationsPrepare specialty foods with short preparation times, verifying quality and quantityWash, cut, and prepare ingredients; clean and restock workstationsMaintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in food preparation areasOperate large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, fryers, and griddlesCoordinate cooking schedules and equipment use with managers based on daily menusEDUCATION And EXPERIENCEHigh School Diploma or GED equivalentFive years of cooking experience, or an equivalent combination of training, education, and experienceCERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSRelevant certifications are a plusQualificationsAbility to follow prescribed procedures and guidelinesExperience tracking labor and food costsExperience in new menu developmentExperience training junior cooksSelf-directed and proactive work styleGeneral knowledge of kitchen equipmentAbility to perform effectively in a high-pressure environment#ZRHMS01
