Senior Technical Accountant

Position: Senior Technical AccountantCompensation: $140,000 - $160,000 annually, depending on experienceLocation: Houston, TexasInceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Senior Technical Accountant to join their team!Join a dynamic environment where you'll be the go-to authority on complex accounting matters. The position is open due to a transition from a long-term contractor to a full-time employee, providing a chance to make a lasting impact.Key Responsibilities & Duties:Lead technical accounting for complex transactions under U.S. GAAPPrepare technical memos and position papersAct as liaison with external auditorsSupport month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activitiesImprove accounting policies, processes, and controlsCollaborate with Investor Relations, Tax, Legal, and FP&ARequired Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA required8+ years of progressive accounting experienceBig 4 or national public accounting backgroundStrong experience in U.S. GAAP researchExperience preparing SOX-compliant documentationNice to Have Skills & Experience:Experience in the oil and gas industryFamiliarity with ERP integrationsExperience with Oracle FCCS, Wdesk, and Microsoft CopilotPerks & Benefits:This opportunity includes a comprehensive and competitive benefits package—details will be shared during later stages of the hiring process.If you are interested in learning more about the Senior Technical Accountant opportunity, please submit your resume for consideration.
