Scheduler - Anesthesiology

Position Details Location: Hybrid Status: Full-time Shift: 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM (may vary) Days: Monday – Friday (occasional weekends) The Scheduler will work hybrid. This team member must currently reside in Florida. Responsibilities The Scheduling Coordinator effectively and efficiently addresses scheduling needs to ensure optimal staffing for all anesthetizing sites of service.Accurately inputs staff schedules in the appropriate program, works collaboratively with practice clinical leaders to maximize utilization of staff resources, prepares staffing reports, proactively looks at future staffing needs and schedules to ensure 24/7 coverage, and revises schedules to adapt to changing needs ensuring operational efficiency across all campuses. Establishes strong working relationships with medical staff, anesthesiology leadership, CRNAs, CAAs, and Anesthesiologists to communicate proactively to cover vacancies and fill unplanned staffing needs promptly. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint Presentation required, proficiency in QGenda or other anesthesia scheduling software highly preferred. EducationRequired: HS Graduate or Equivalent GED; Preferred: Associate degree ExperienceRequired: 2 Years Anesthesiology OR Nursing scheduling Why BayCare?
