ResponsibilitiesKforce has a client that is seeking a Safety Representative 5 in Bedford, IN. Duties Include: Analyze Workplace Safety data, communicate findings and trends, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement Evaluate site Workplace Safety performance and Industrial Hygiene processes to ensure adherence to MIOSHA standards Serve as the primary resource for site Workplace Safety and Industrial Hygiene requirements Collaborate with GWS, Site, and Company Leadership to advance Workplace Safety culture transformation efforts Deliver training and development initiatives to promote a positive safety culture among site employees Foster partnerships with key personnel such as Enterprise Safety Operations, Global Workplace Safety, Human Resources, Industrial Hygiene, Labor, Environmental, Ergonomics, and Health Services teams Support the implementation of safety processes across the site under the direction of a Company Safety Leader Provide guidance to facilitate successful adoption of MIOSHA safety requirements and other Company safety or Industrial Hygiene related initiatives Work collaboratively with GWS Company safety stakeholders, site peers, and leadership to develop actionable plans and effective tracking systems that eliminate obstacles and facilitate the timely execution of safety projects Support or lead the resolution of safety concerns as required Perform additional duties as assigned by leaderRequirements Bachelor's degree of Science preferred (Occupational and Health) Safety experience minimum of 2 years Communication; Oral and Written Quick learner/Initiative/Patience Team player/Problem Solver/Flexible OSHA 10 OR OSHA 30 preferred Powertrain or foundry schools will be a plus Vehicle/Automotive manufacturing experience is a plusThe pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
