Resident Engineer

We are currently seeking a highly experienced Subject Matter Expert (SME) – Wet Utilities to support ongoing infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi on an on-call consultancy basis.Location: Abu Dhabi, UAEEngagement Type: Part-time / On-demand ConsultancyThe ideal professional will possess extensive expertise in Stormwater infrastructure projects, with strong technical capabilities in construction supervision, system reviews, inspections, testing & commissioning, and multidisciplinary coordination including MEP interfaces.Key Requirements:✔ Minimum 15+ years of experience in infrastructure and wet utilities projects✔ Proven expertise in Stormwater networks and associated infrastructure systems✔ Strong experience in pumping stations, MEP coordination, testing & commissioning activities✔ Sound knowledge of inspections, technical reviews, method statements, quality assurance, and compliance procedures✔ Experience in major infrastructure projects within consultancy or contracting environments✔ Strong problem-solving, technical advisory, and stakeholder coordination capabilities✔ Knowledge of Abu Dhabi/UAE authority standards is preferred but not mandatoryScope of Engagement: • Provide technical advisory and SME support as required • Conduct site visits, inspections, and technical assessments • Review construction activities, technical submissions, and engineering documentation • Support project teams in resolving technical and execution-related challengesThis engagement is structured on a flexible consultancy basis, with compensation aligned to agreed site visits/hours/days of support.
