Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and motivated Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong focus on safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle various types of vehicles, including box trucks and vans. Responsibilities Safely operate vehicles to deliver goods to designated locations. Load and unload products, ensuring they are secured properly during transport. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate delivery records and logs, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery times. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving in various weather conditions. Assist in moving items within the warehouse as needed, contributing to overall operational efficiency. Experience Previous experience in commercial driving or as a delivery driver is preferred. Familiarity with warehouse operations, including loading and unloading procedures. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for loading/unloading tasks. Experience driving box trucks or vans is a plus. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in record-keeping.
