Eaton's IS Filtration division is currently seeking a Welder Production - Basket Fabricator - 1st Shift. The core hours are 7:00am to 3:00pm. The hourly rate for this position is $21.00 per hour.Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.What you'll do:Read and interpret prints, charts, work orders and other documents used in the manufacture of strainer basketsAccurately use measurement and cutting equipment such as tape measures calipers, hand shears, table shear, drill press, cut off tools, grinders, engraver and inductive spot welding machinesUse roll forming equipment and perform simple assembly of metal componentsAssist with cycle counting of inventory and annual physical inventory as neededAll manufacturing employees at Williamsport are also responsible for: Complying with all Environment, Health, & Safety (EHS) standardsComplying with all work and process instructionsIdentifying improvement opportunitiesUtilizing proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for each task associated with the jobWorking safely and reporting all near misses, illnesses, and injuries following established procedures.Completing any initial or recurring training issued by the site or EatonQualifications:Basic (Required) Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institutionA minimum one (1) year of experience in a manufacturing environmentEaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
