Batching Operator
Working under the direction of the Production Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for manufacturing products by operating, monitoring, and adjusting production equipment along the operation's high-speed production lines.
Responsibilities
Operate and maintain high-speed production lines.
Fill different types of packaging containers from pint size to 55-gallon drums.
Achieve or surpass established production standards.
Make equipment adjustments.
Prepare processing equipment by making setup adjustments and assisting with changeovers.
Document production processes by completing logs, calculating statistics, and noting the receipt, flow, and return of materials.
Prepare trainees for production responsibilities by demonstrating teamwork, leadership, and following standard operating procedures.
Complete production, productivity, inspection, downtime, and safety reports.
Maintain quality standards by conducting first-piece and line inspections.
Report production and quality issues by recording data and reporting unresolved issues to the supervisor.
Inspect equipment and its parts to ensure conformance to specifications.
Essential Skills
Experience in machine operation, production, and machine operating.
Ability to work with batch sheets, compounding, and gather materials.
Knowledge in batching, batch records, and chemical compounding.
2-5 years of production operations experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Experience in a high-speed line manufacturing or processing industry.
Ability to read gauges, dials, or other indicators to ensure proper machine operation.
Excellent diagnostic, troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Lead experience is a plus.
Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and standards, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective production of goods.
2-5+ years of production experience in a manufacturing environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hernando, MS.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
