He/she ensures that quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner, consistent with the unit's standard of care. He/she demonstrates performance consistent with the mission, philosophy, and goals of the organization. He/she remains flexible to changing systems and is expected to demonstrate quality and effectiveness in work habits and clinical practice. He/she treats staff, physicians, patients, and families with consideration and respect. The role requires adherence to confidentiality regulations as required by the job. It involves potential exposure to blood and body fluids. The position requires frequent bending, squatting, kneeling, climbing, and frequent transferring of patients. The employee must demonstrate physical capability to lift and move patients safely. The job requires vision capabilities for close vision and the ability to adjust focus. The employee will perform comprehensive assessments on all patients and make nursing decisions based on evaluations of patient outcomes.
