Infrastructure Technical Project Manager (ITPM)Location: On-Site (Abilene) TX Ideally locals only.Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Technical Project Manager (ITPM) to lead and coordinate enterprise technology initiatives for a large regional health system. This individual will be responsible for managing multiple concurrent infrastructure projects while serving as the primary liaison between technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and executive leadership.The ideal candidate possesses strong project management expertise, understands complex healthcare IT environments, and can successfully drive technology initiatives from planning through implementation and operational transition.Key Responsibilities• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of enterprise IT infrastructure projects.• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, milestones, resource plans, and status reporting.• Coordinate activities across infrastructure, networking, security, cloud, application, and support teams.• Facilitate project meetings, technical work sessions, and executive steering committee updates.• Monitor project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, issues, and dependencies.• Proactively identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.• Manage project communications with executive leadership, technical teams, and business stakeholders.• Coordinate vendor activities and ensure alignment across all participating organizations.• Ensure project documentation, change management, and implementation plans are complete and maintained throughout the project lifecycle.• Drive accountability for project deliverables while maintaining high customer satisfaction.• Support operational readiness and transition activities following project completion.• Escalate issues appropriately and facilitate timely resolution. Required Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.• Minimum of 5 years of experience managing enterprise IT infrastructure projects.• Proven experience leading complex technology initiatives involving multiple technical disciplines.• Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure, including:• Microsoft Azure• Microsoft 365• Active Directory / Entra ID• Windows Server• Virtualization platforms• Storage and backup technologies• Enterprise networking• Identity and access management• Experience managing vendors, contractors, and cross-functional technical teams.• Excellent written, verbal, and executive communication skills.• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. Preferred Qualifications• Experience supporting healthcare providers or integrated health systems.• Knowledge of healthcare technology environments, including regulatory and security considerations.• Experience with cloud migration, infrastructure modernization, and Microsoft cloud technologies.• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform, Azure AI, and related Microsoft services.• Experience using Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar project management platforms.• PMP certification preferred.• Agile or Scrum certification is a plus.Desired Competencies• Executive presence and professional communication.• Strong leadership and team coordination skills.• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.• Strong customer service orientation.• Ability to build collaborative relationships across technical and business teams.• Self-motivated with a high level of accountability and attention to detail.
