Bring your intelligence and creative spirit and join us at MPD!The Antenna Systems Department is engaged in both modeling & simulation along with prototyping & testbed development. The range of work includes CubeSat antenna systems, ground station support, antenna design & modeling, construction of prototypes and pattern measurements in our anechoic chambers and helping our government customer execute missions of national interest and define future missions. We work closely with other departments to develop software defined radio (SDR) communication systems (transmitter & receivers), and RF systems in support of prototyping and customer developments .We are looking for anAntenna Systems Engineer (Senior MTS or Engineering Specialist)Work Model : The selected candidate will be required to work full time on-site at our facility atin El SegundoWhat You'll Be Doing
Join the Antenna Systems Department as an experienced engineer who works both independently and as a member of project teamsProvide subject matter expertise in RF systems, antennas, and receive and transmit systemsSolve technical problems in the areas of communications, signals collection, and remote sensingEngage the customer with impact on the problems to be solved and leading project teamsUse your technical abilities and insights to foster innovation and keep ongoing development programs successful and also influencing(influence) future missionsOperate strategically by supporting our DOD and Intelligence customersWork closely with junior and senior staffWhat You Need to be Successful - Senior Member of Technical Staff
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited program in Electrical Engineering or related technical disciplineFive or more years of related experience in Antenna/RF System design, analysis and testingAbility to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance issued by the U.S. government.U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.Proficiency with a variety of analysis tools such as ADS, Microwave Office, HFSS, Feko, CST, and GRASPExperience in a laboratory environment working with RF hardware and test equipmentWork with customers and project teamsWillingness to travel domestically up to 10% of the timeIn addition to the above, the minimum requirements forEngineering Specialistinclude:
Eight or more years of related experience in Antenna/RF System design, analysis, and testingExperience supporting DoD/IC programs and payloadsDemonstrated experience leading development projects and mentoring junior staffProven ability to architect and implement antenna and RF and antenna system solutions with real-world performance requirementsHow You Can Stand Out

Active TS/SCI security clearance, which is issued by the U.S. government.Master's degree from an accredited program in Electrical Engineering or related technical disciplineExperience with ground stationsProficiency in scientific programming using languages such as C, C++, MATLAB, PythonExperience leading small teams for projects related to antenna systems, radar systems, SIGINT processing, communication systems, and hardware prototypingWe offer a competitive compensation package where you'll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to our business. The grade-based pay range for this job is listed below. Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skills.(Min - Max)
$129,000.00 - $193,500.00Pay Basis: Annual
