Benefits:401(k) matchingBonus based on performanceCompetitive salaryDental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceWell known and established 10 Attorney Law Firm seeks an experienced Plaintiff Personal Injury Paralegal, with a minimum 3 -10 years of experience (Plaintiff or Defense), to work for the named Partners.This person will have heavy and extensive experience in Personal Injury Litigation, be able to handle a case load of 50 plus cases that are in progress, and have excellent scheduling and calendaring skills. You will not be writing briefs and doing a lot of research. Your work consists mostly of case management and discovery: preparing Complaints, 16.1 Disclosures, respond and propound discovery, preparing exhibit binders and preparation for trial. Trial experience is a plus for this position. You will also be ordering, reviewing, and summarizing medical records and preparing deposition summaries.Candidates should also possess the following skills:· Knowledge of the Local Rules of Civil Procedure and FRCP· E-filing experience in both State and Federal· Trial experience is a huge plus· Understand and have knowledge of calendaring and SOL's· Able to work as a team or independently· Computer savvy with MS Word and preferably case management savvy· Strong in the discovery process· Possess excellent case management skills· Have excellent time management skills· Have a friendly and compassionate demeanorThis is a 37.5 hour work week.
