Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world.The Systems Engineering & Test Capabilities team discipline is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support integration and test activities for NASAMS (surface to air defense system) programs. In this role you will collaborate internally across functions and externally with our industry partners and U.S. Government customers to plan, prepare and execute Product Acceptance Testing and System Demonstration of the NASAMS Fire Unit. This position reports into the overall NASAMS SI&T Cross Product Team Lead.What You Will Do:Support the test architect in the integration and test strategy development and implementation to include metric collection and tracking.Support the development and review of test plans and test procedures.Support the planning, preparations, and conduct and product acceptance, system demonstration, and System Integration and Checkout (SICO) events.Identify and coordinate resources required for execution of demonstration and test events.Responsible for providing technical assistance to the program SI&T CPT lead to include development of technical briefings for program and engineering leadership.International travel up to 20%. Regular travel between Raytheon locations in Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire is required.Qualifications You Must Have:Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics. (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.Experience with the systems, software, operation, integration, and/or test.Ability to obtain Interim Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain a Final Secret U.S. government issued security clearance after start.Qualifications We Prefer :Experience with DOORSExperience with the integration and test of Air Defense SystemsExperience with creating test scripts, and/or conducting performance analysis.Experience with Microsoft applications.Effective written and verbal communication, customer focus, collaboration, and multitasking skills.Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance.What We OfferOur values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
