CNC Team Lead Columbus, INDirect/ On-SiteAn established and growing industrial manufacturer is seeking a hands-on CNC Team Lead to support machining operations, production flow, employee development, and continuous improvement initiatives within a fast-paced production environment.This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in daily operations while helping drive efficiency, quality, and team performance across multiple production cells.What you will be doing as a CNC Team LeadCoordinate daily workflow and production priorities across machining operations Program and set-up CNC lathe machines and other production equipmentDetermine the sequence of operations, methods of setup and layoutUse measuring gauges to perform product quality checksAssist with employee training, coaching, and floor leadership Monitor quality standards and ensure compliance with production specifications Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, uptime, and waste reduction Partner with maintenance and operations teams to minimize downtime Support inventory, tooling, and vendor coordination activities Promote a safe, organized, and team-oriented manufacturing environment What you will need as a CNC Team LeadPrior experience within a CNC or precision manufacturing environment CNC Programming experience.Leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience in production operations Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities Experience reading blueprints and working with precision measurements Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and continuous improvement principles Strong communication and organizational skills
