Oncology - Radiation Physician

Radiation Oncology Locum Tenens in Johnstown, PAWe are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Radiation Oncology Locum to join our healthcare facility in Johnstown, PA. This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $200 and covers clinic and call duties starting from September 5th with an ongoing assignment.Responsibilities:- Inpatient/Outpatient Medicine: As a Radiation Oncology Locum, you will provide medical care and consultations to both inpatient and outpatient cases.- Patient Care: You will see assigned and unassigned patients, ensuring their well-being and providing radiation treatments as required.- Brachytherapy and External Beam Therapy: While experience in Brachytherapy and External Beam Therapy is preferred, it is not mandatory for the position.- Temporary Privileges: The facility can facilitate temporary privileges within 30-45 days for qualified candidates.- Scheduled Coverage: You will be responsible for coverage on specific dates and hours, starting with an orientation on September 5 at 8 AM until 3 PM. Additional coverage dates are September 6, 7, and 8, October 2-4, and November 27-December 1, with working hours from 7 AM to 3 PM on each of these days. No on-call hours are required during these shifts.- On-Site Requirement: The provider must be on-site during the specified hours and dates mentioned above to provide radiation treatments and consultations effectively.Qualifications:- Board Certification in Radiation Oncology or relevant specialty.- Valid medical license in the state of Pennsylvania.- Experience in Radiation Oncology, including Brachytherapy and External Beam Therapy (preferred but not required).- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, providing quality care to patients.- Availability for the specified coverage dates and hours.If you are a skilled and compassionate Radiation Oncologist looking for a locum opportunity in Johnstown, PA, we encourage you to apply.
