Ideal candidates will have at least 5-10 years of litigation experience in either general liability or construction defect and must have trial experience. Qualified candidates will assist our attorneys in all aspects of case management including, pre-trial preparation, summarizing of medical records, depositions, employment records, etc., and provide assistance with discovery work up. You must be extremely organized and self-motivated. This is a hybrid position requiring you to come into the office. Therefore you must live in the greater Tampa, Miami or Boca Raton areas – no exceptions. Join the firm that is a bold differentiator in the industry.Requirements:Must possess a paralegal certificateProfessional and pleasant demeanorExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAttention to detailAbility to process and follow up on Subpoenas for the receipt of medical, employment, worker’s compensation, disability, taxes, educational, union records, etc.Ability to communicate with experts, specifically prepare and organize material needed for expert witness reviewAbility to respond timely and effectively in a team atmosphereAbility to multi-task independently, be proactive and successfully manage a variety of demandsHigh level of computer competency, in the complete Microsoft Office Suite. Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, iManage, e-Copy, PDF conversionTrial preparation, including but not limited to the preparation of exhibits, witness materials and pre-trial documentsAbility to prepare records, review and prepare exhibits, and trial preparationAssemble chronologies of key documentsReview, analyze and organize document productions by opposing parties and co-defendantsAbility to redact claim files, medical records, police reports, emails, etc.Determine, prepare and organize material needed for expert witness reviewRequires the ability to work 40 Hours a week M-F 8:30 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.Reliable with excellent attendanceBenefits include:A competitive salary package, including the potential for bonusesInsurance including medical, dental, vision, disability, life, and a flexible spending account401(k) retirement planPTO, paid sick time and paid holidaysA flexible work from home policyReferral programRecruiters - Please do not contact us as we are not using external recruiters to fill this position at this time.
