Applicable experience may be substituted for degree.Experience:Minimum of 3 years of professional coding experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role preferred. Extensive knowledge and application of CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10, outpatient coding, E/M guidelines, and documentation standards requiredCertification:CPC (Certified Professional Coder) required. CPMA (Certified Professional Medical Auditor) required.Other:Coding software and Epic experience preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) preferred. Prior experience in presenting to various audiences; strong public speaking skills preferred. Demonstrates strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
