Role Title: Web Engineer / UI DeveloperLocation: St. Louis, MO [Onsite]Duration: Long Term Contract Key Responsibilities:·        Architecture & Design: Lead the design and architecture of complex web applications using React and GraphQL, ensuring high performance and scalability.·        Development: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices in web development.·        Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and backend engineers, to define project requirements and deliver exceptional user experiences.·        Mentorship: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.·        Code Reviews: Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to standards.·        Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and ensure the application is responsive and efficient.·        Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies, and advocate for innovative approaches that enhance our tech stack. Qualifications:·        Experience: 5+ years of experience in web development, with a strong focus on React and GraphQL.·        Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and related frameworks. Familiarity with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX) and tools like Webpack or Babel.·        Backend Understanding: Knowledge of RESTful APIs and experience integrating with backend services. Familiarity with Node.js and server-side development is a plus.·        Testing & Debugging: Experience with testing frameworks and methodologies (e.g., Jest, Cypress) to ensure robust application performance.·        Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and solve complex technical issues.·        Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
