Privately HeldAbout the RoleThe Company is seeking a Vice President for Significant Transactions Evaluation. This pivotal role is at the forefront of the organization's most complex and material activities, including new legal entity formations, complex reinsurance agreements, equity and profit-interest compensation structures, and non-traditional ownership models. The successful candidate will be responsible for running the internal Significant Transaction Review process, supporting senior leadership in transaction analysis, and ensuring that all activities are in line with U.S. GAAP. This is not a traditional accounting policy role; it demands an individual who is intellectually curious, highly organized, and comfortable in ambiguity, with a strong motivation to understand, structure, and document significant transactions.Key responsibilities for the Vice President of Significant Transactions Evaluation include transaction analysis and coordination, cross-functional engagement with various business units, and executive-level support. The role requires a judgment-oriented approach, the ability to identify and address key technical issues, and a practical, business-minded approach to technical issues. The ideal candidate will have a background in Big 4 Transaction Services, technical accounting, or insurance and reinsurance-focused accounting roles, with a proven track record of evaluating complex contracts and advising on their structure. Personal attributes such as being naturally inquisitive, organized, and confident in engaging with senior stakeholders are essential.
