Shipping Clerk (Aerospace Manufacturing)
Our Shipping Clerk will play a key role in delivering quality and precision from our floor to our customers. In this role, you'll ensure outgoing materials are accurately verified, properly documented, and shipped in compliance with both company standards and customer specifications. You'll be hands-on in preparing castings for shipment, completing critical quality checks, and ensuring every order leaves our facility meeting the highest standards. What You'll Do
Own the shipping process by organizing materials, documentation, and test results to ensure every order is complete, accurate, and ready for delivery
Review and finalize job documentation (travelers, special instructions, and process details) to maintain compliance with customer and company requirements
Ensure quality and accuracy by verifying markings, test calculations, and packing methods before shipments leave the facility
Prepare and move shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hoists while following all safety and handling procedures
Manage inventory flow by identifying and relocating excess castings to designated storage areas
Inspect completed shipments to confirm they meet all quality standards and shipping procedures
Maintain a clean, organized workspace that supports efficiency and safety
Follow all safety, DOT, HAZMAT, and environmental regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all
Grow your skills by obtaining additional certifications and participating in training opportunities
Support team success by contributing to special projects and stepping in where needed
What You Bring
High school diploma or GED preferred
At least 1 year of shipping and/or warehouse experience (manufacturing environment a plus)
Forklift certification preferred; Class B or CDL license is a plus
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work overtime as needed and maintain reliable attendance
Willingness to work on-site at our Bloomington facility

Indoor, hands-on role within a dynamic foundry environment
Personal protective equipment (PPE) required based on work area
Safety glasses and steel-toe shoes required at all times
