Job Description Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Electrician with 10+ years of hands-on and managerial experience in industrial environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and system integration across a wide range of industrial applications. This role requires expertise in high-voltage systems, controls, automation, and hazardous environments.Key ResponsibilitiesElectrical Construction & Installation* Perform new construction, additions, remodeling, and rewiring of industrial facilitiesAssist in preconstruction planning and design-build projectsExecute facility shutdowns and electrical upgradesInstall and repair single-phase (120/240V) and three-phase systems (120/208V, 277/480V)Perform meter panel upgrades, underground services, and surge protection system installationsCabling & Low Voltage Systems* Install and maintain surveillance, CCTV, and card access systems* Run and terminate telephone, data, and fiber optic cabling* Work on fire alarm and security systemsHazardous & Explosion-Proof Environments* Install and maintain systems in Class I, II, and III hazardous locations* Work in environments involving liquid bulk storage, chemicals, and gas systemsIndustrial Equipment & Automation* Maintain and repair conveyors, robotics, and material handling systems* Troubleshoot motors and variable frequency drives (VFDs)* Work with switchgear and motor control centers (MCCs)Controls & Instrumentation* Install and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems* Perform field control wiring and system upgrades* Work with relay logic and computer-based control systemsCustom Fabrication & Labeling* Assist in design, fabrication, and installation of custom UL control panels* Create and install custom thermal-printed tags and labelsQualifications* Minimum 10 years of industrial electrical experienceStrong knowledge of NEC codes and safety standardsProven experience with high-voltage systems and industrial controlsExperience working in hazardous/explosion -proof environments preferredAbility to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawingsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPreferred Skills* Experience with PLC/HMI/SCADA systemsBackground in automation and process controlsFamiliarity with energy audits and power quality analysisExperience with UL panel fabrication and design-build projects
