In short: we make cans and closures, at scale.Role: Electrician / General Plant Maintenance (also known as Industrial Electrician, Maintenance Technician, or Electrician). We also offer a 100% 401(k) match up to 6%, plus additional benefits.We have one opening for an Electrician/General Plant Maintenance Technician at our Dayton, OH facility—supporting a team that produces millions of beverage can ends per day. You’ll keep equipment running safely, troubleshoot issues fast, and partner with Production to hit daily targets.Troubleshoots equipment stoppages and reacts accordinglyParticipates in routine preventative/predictable maintenance and performs routine checksAssists manufacturing during product changeoversUtilizes various mechanical and electrical test equipmentMonitors and reacts in a timely manner to routine demand maintenance requirementsJob RequirementsAssociates degree in a technology/industrial/ manufacturing preferred (or equivalent experience)3-5 years practical hands-on experience in an industrial settingWorking knowledge with Allen Bradley PLC's, Vision and other complex automation systems. Robotics is a plus.Deep understanding of electrical systems, components and safety protocolsExperience with high pressure hydraulics, pneumatics, and automated material handling, utilizing 480V, VFD's and PLC control logic troubleshootingGood mechanical aptitudeAbility to work with minimal supervisionAble to read, interpret blueprints on manufacturing equipment. Interpret manuals and industrial standards. (Electrical Code and OSHA regulations)Light machining and welding skills. Light fabrication skills.Must be willing to work 12-hour shifts and a rotating scheduleMust pass pre-employment physical, drug test and background check.Physical RequirementsWhile performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms.The team member frequently is required to climb or balance and talk or hear.
