SVP, Technology and Enterprise Systems Senior Vice President, Technology and Enterprise SystemsPosition OverviewThe Senior Vice President, Technology and Enterprise Systems, is responsible for the oversight, security, provisioning, and performance of Avenue5's enterprise technology environment. This role ensures that enterprise systems, software platforms, and end-user technology are secure, well-governed, and structured to support continued growth and operational excellence.This leader maintains a comprehensive view of the technology ecosystem across Avenue5, including enterprise software such as Microsoft 365 and Adobe, cloud infrastructure, file systems, property management technologies, identity and access management, and end-user hardware. This role is accountable for governance, security, integration, provisioning, and operational reliability across the enterprise.This role partners across all departments to ensure technology is deployed consistently, suppliers are effectively managed, and systems support both operational execution and client expectations.Key Responsibilities and ObjectivesEnterprise Technology Strategy and TransformationDefine and execute a technology roadmap aligned with business prioritiesAlign enterprise platforms into a cohesive, scalable ecosystemEstablish architectural standards and governanceBalance speed, cost, and long-term sustainabilityTechnology Operations, Software and Hardware ManagementOversee enterprise software, including Microsoft 365, Adobe, and cloud platformsManage file systems, data storage, and collaboration toolsOversee hardware lifecycle, including procurement, provisioning, and supportOwn access controls, provisioning, and lifecycle managementLead and oversee the company's help desk function, including the team responsible for end-user support, ensuring high-quality service, responsiveness, and operational efficiencyCybersecurity and GovernanceLead a security-first operating modelOversee monitoring, vulnerability management, and incident responseMaintain governance and compliance frameworksEnsure supplier and internal accountability for controls and riskCross-Functional Partnership and EnablementPartner with Avenue5 departments to ensure technology is consistently evaluated, approved, and deployed in alignment with enterprise standards, eliminating siloed decision-making and promoting solutions that support multiple functionsGuide system selection and implementationSupport business-led technology initiativesEnsure enterprise alignment while supporting departmental needsSupplier Management, Procurement, and StandardsLead supplier selection, procurement, and contract negotiationsEnsure contracts define performance and security expectationsHold suppliers accountable to service levels and outcomesPrevent duplication and unnecessary complexityInfrastructure and Workplace ExperienceAdvance cloud-first architectureImprove secure access and endpoint managementDeliver reliable and intuitive workplace technologyLeadership and Team DevelopmentLead teams across infrastructure, security, and supportSet accountability and performance standardsBuild a culture of ownership and responsivenessQualifications12 plus years of leadership experience in enterprise technologyExperience in multi-site environments preferredStrong knowledge of Microsoft platforms and enterprise systemsExperience managing software and hardware environmentsProven ability to bring structure to complex environmentsStrong executive communication and leadership skillsExperience in the multifamily industry and familiarity with platforms such as Yardi, RealPage, and Salesforce is preferred but not requiredWhat Success Looks LikeTechnology is scalable, secure, and aligned to the businessSystems operate cohesively with reduced fragmentationUsers have reliable access to tools and devicesSecurity and compliance are embedded in operationsTechnology enables business performanceThe Avenue5 WayAt Avenue5, we are all in on delivering results.
