Community Association Paralegal

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Community Association Paralegal to join our Community Association team. The ideal candidate thrives in a professional, team-oriented environment, demonstrates excellent communication skills, and has meticulous attention to detail. The role requires someone who can manage a fast-paced workload efficiently while ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal procedures.Duties and Responsibilities:Draft and prepare demand letters and statutory pre-suit mediation demand letters.Prepare Annual and Special Meeting Notice packages.Draft and process Board Meeting Notices, Board Resolutions, and correspondence to clients, including electronic voting and remote participation matters.Prepare Certificates of Amendment and related correspondence.Assist with document rewrite projects and ensure accuracy of all association documents.Record documents via Simplifile and prepare transmittal letters to clients.Prepare amendments, recall packages, and Special Assessment packages with corresponding cover letters.Manage Association Q&A sheets and ATIDS orders such as title searches and requests for governing documents.Oversee and verify accuracy of Condominium Documents (Declaration, Articles of Incorporation, By-Laws, Certificates of Amendment, and associated indexing/tabs for Homeowner Associations).Maintain the MRTA (Marketable Records Title Act) log, follow up with HOA/POA clients, prepare Notice to Preserve documents, and assemble revitalization packages.Required Skills and Abilities:Strong ability to organize files and manage workflow efficiently.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.Exceptional attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.Education and Experience:Associate degree in Paralegal Studies or related field required.Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field preferred.This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a collaborative team environment while gaining exposure to a wide range of community association legal matters.Equal Opportunity Employer / Disabled / Protected VeteransThe Know Your Rights poster is available here:https://www.eeoc.gov/sites/default/files/2023-06/22-088_EEOC_KnowYourRights6.12.pdfThe pay transparency policy is available here:https://www.dol.gov/sites/dolgov/files/ofccp/pdf/pay-transp_%20English_formattedESQA508c.pdfFor temporary assignments lasting 13 weeks or longer, AppleOne is pleased to offer major medical, dental, vision, 401k and any statutory sick pay where required.We are committed to working with and providing reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities.
