Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Cincinnati, OH, for a Senior Human Resources Leader. The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing HR functions such as talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, workforce development, and policy implementation. They will lead a team to develop HR strategies, manage organizational change, and ensure alignment with the City of Cincinnati's goals. The role requires collaboration with city leadership to foster an inclusive, equitable, and productive work environment while providing guidance on labor relations and employee engagement. Qualifications Human Resources Management, Strategic Planning, and Organizational Development expertiseDemonstrated experience in Talent Acquisition, Workforce Development, and Succession PlanningComprehensive knowledge of Labor Relations, Compliance, and Employment LawStrong background in Employee Relations, Conflict Resolution, and Team LeadershipProficiency in Diversity and Inclusion initiatives to promote equity in the workplaceExceptional communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to manage projects, lead cross-functional teams, and implement change initiativesBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree or HR certification preferred)Previous experience in a senior HR leadership role, ideally in the public or government sector
