Export Control Compliance Manager
Job DescriptionWe are looking for an Export Control Compliance Manager to join our Custom Solutions team in Herndon, Virginia. The role ensures an end-to-end export control process, tracks export issues throughout product development, prevents deficiencies that could cause delays or sanctions, and supports export-compliant business.BenefitsCompetitive remunerationHybrid working, flex-time, maternity/paternity leavePersonalised development plans and learning opportunitiesHealth insurance and well-being programmesResponsibilitiesSupport the business to ensure compliant and timely delivery in cooperation with the global export control team.Track evolution of export-control laws (ITAR, EAR) and liaise with government authorities.Provide advice, tools and training to business functions.Maintain intelligence on end-use countries or customers.Prepare export-control documentation and coordinate clearance.Apply for licenses, conduct physical checks, classify, administer licenses and record keeping.Ensure sanctions compliance.Continuously improve export-control performance – training, surveys, process updates.Define, update and enforce end-to-end export-control process.Support implementation of Airbus Directives and Methods.Update list of products, documentation, equipment, components subject to export restriction.Assist business in maintaining high export-control and customs standards, develop processes, audit support and reporting.Travel and LocationUp to 10% domestic business travel.
