Gastroenterology Physician

We are seeking a Locum Tenens Gastroenterology Physician in Maine . Locum Tenens Gastroenterology Physician Position Type: Locum Tenens Specialty: Physician - Gastroenterology Location: Maine Rate: Open & Negotiable Shift: Monday Friday, 8-hour days with a 30-minute lunch Start Date: June 2025 (July at the latest) End Date: November 2025 Position Details: Endoscopic procedures in the OR and possibly one day per week in the clinic. Adult outpatient (office/clinic) setting. Support Staff: Full OR staff, including both CRNA and Anesthesiologist support. No weekends, no call. Patient Load: 14-16 patients per day in the clinic. EMR: Epic ERCP not required, but experience with advanced procedures is preferred. Onsite lab and X-ray available. Credentialing timeframe: 90 days. Travel expenses covered. Required Procedures: Lower GI Endoscopy Sigmoidoscopy Colonoscopy Upper GI Endoscopy (Diagnostic, Biopsy, Foreign Body Removal, Banding of Varices) Therapeutic procedures preferred but not mandatory. Submission Requirements: Board Certified Gastroenterology REQUIRED (ABMS or AOA) Active ME license Highly Preferred (will review high-quality candidates without it) ACLS, BLS REQUIRED COVID and Flu vaccine REQUIRED Availability for specified dates REQUIRED Institutional ADR Requested at time of Name Clear (All gender ADR should be 35% or greater).
