Job DescriptionAttorney – Cleveland or Akron100% Onsite (2 locations)Cleveland: 127 Public Square Suite 1540 Cleveland, Ohio 44114Akron: 388 South Main Street, Suite 400Akron, OH 44311$100,000.00 - $150,000.00Job Responsibilities:Medical case reviewNegotiating and settling cases in the pre-litigation stageReview policies, claims and other recordsPrepare, write, and argue legal documents, including but not limited to memos, theory of liability and demandsCommunicate with insurance companies and make sure client medical treatment is managed and billed accordinglyCommunicate with clients to provide case status updateConduct intake meetings with new clientsManage docket of cases according to office policyConduct and attend IME's, EUO's and recorded statementsExercise a high degree of confidentiality and professionalismLicensure:Must be currently licensed in the state of Ohio and in good standing.Skills and Abilities:Must have experience in personal injury law of a minimum of 2-5 yearsIntermediate to advanced-level computer and general office skills; strong interpersonal skillsAbility to effectively communicate through both verbal and written electronic correspondenceDemonstrate an ability to analyze corrective action opportunities and present recommendationsFirm Benefits:Base plus bonus structurePaid time off and paid personal timeMedical, Dental, and Vision insurance.
