Administrative Assistant Job Description Do you enjoy working with many people and a vibrant community? Are you able to juggle multiple tasks and find the best way to prioritize them? Do you have fantastic follow up and attention to detail? If so, our Administrative Assistant position might be the perfect fit for you! We are looking for our next addition to join our growing team at the Tigard Chamber of Commerce. In addition to traditional administrative tasks of answering phones, checking emails, and booking appointments we are looking for the following skills and desires to help and grow within our team: Managing our Filing and Digital Filing System. Assisting with Chamber Master related questions and inquiries. Assisting with Social Media Scheduling and Canva Templates and editing for upcoming events and promotions. First point of contact for on site and digital Visitors Center and community inquiries. Reporting and Analysis of Reports as requested by CEO. Maintaining inventory and organization of office supplies. Other tasks as assigned. Work Environment: We are an in person, public facing organization and as such work is to be performed primarily in Tigard Chamber’s office. There may be light travel around the Tigard Community. Technology skills: Windows, Microsoft Office Professional Suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint, etc), Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (as needed), Outlook, Microsoft Teams and Zoom. Ability to quickly learn new technology and software applications a plus, comfort with mobile devices and mobile technology a plus. Constant Contact and Social media skills a plus. Physical Requirements Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds. Frequent standing and sitting depending on environment. Ability to climb stairs as office is located on a second floor with no elevator access. Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $19.50 per hour Expected hours: 20 per week Benefits: Flexible schedule Schedule: Monday to Friday Work Location: In person
