Packaging Lab TechnicianStamford, CT, United States$ 34.00 - 35.00 (US Dollar)Packaging Lab Technician needs 1 year experiencePackaging Lab Technician requires:Concise documentation and reporting is critical in this roleLab technician in a manufacturing environment or a bachelors degree in Packaging Science with 0-3 years experienceFamiliar with Word, Excel, PowerPoint.Experience with CAPE, Artios, and CAD a plus.Packaging Lab Technician duties:Responsible for sizing, requesting, and qualifying outer cases through ISTA standardized testing.Support Manufacturing Engineers in new product filling scale up by coordination of line trials, documentation, and reporting. In addition this role will manage the stability testing and qualification of new extrusion blow molding molds.Participate and lead testing of package components and materialsWork with suppliers, Package Engineers, Package Testing Engineers, and cross functional team members to drive projects to completionAssist in the design and development of project-related packaging componentsAssist in the initiation and coordination of plant trialsCreation and maintenance of packaging testing plans, and package component specificationsAssist engineers on Sustainability metrics development
