Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Quality Inspection (CMM & NDT, Machined Parts) to join our federal team at our York, PA location. This is a hands-on role supporting the inspection and testing of precision components used in mission-critical Navy systems. We help modernize U.S. military installations, Department of Defense and other federal agency facilities to be smarter, more resilient, efficient, sustainable, and secure.Pay: $35.45 / HourShift: 1stBonus Eligible: YesBenefits: Eligible for benefits on first day of employmentAs a Quality Inspection (CMM & NDT, Machined Parts) , you will:Inspect parts and assemblies using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gaugesVerify products meet engineering drawings and specifications Perform visual and mechanical inspections to ensure quality and accuracy Support testing processes, including non-destructive testing (training provided if needed) Assist with CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) inspections (training provided)Document inspection results and report any issues or non-conforming partsWork closely with manufacturing teams to help resolve quality concerns and improve processes Required Qualifications1–3+ years of experience in manufacturing, production, or quality inspection Basic experience using measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)Ability to read basic drawings or work instructions Strong attention to detail and willingness to learnComfortable working in a hands-on shop environment Preferred QualificationsExperience with CMM inspection Exposure to non-destructive testing (NDT) methodsFamiliarity with quality processes or inspection documentation Preferred EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredTechnical training or certification in manufacturing or quality is a plusWho We AreThe primary mission of Johnson Controls Navy Systems is to supply Chilled Water Air Conditioning, Refrigeration Systems and associated equipment to the US Navy and US Coast Guard.
