This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of employment-related matters, including litigation and advisory work for businesses across various industries. If you are looking for a firm that values collaboration, professional development, and high-quality legal work, we encourage you to apply.Key Responsibilities:Provide expert legal counsel on Employment Law matters including, wage and hour, PAGA, workplace disputes, wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, etc.Manage cases from inception through resolution, including pre-litigation strategy, discovery, motions, and trial preparation.Represent clients in state and federal courts, arbitration, mediation, and other dispute resolution forums.Advise clients on risk management and compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.Negotiate settlements and work to resolve disputes in a cost-effective and timely manner.Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and other correspondence.Develop strategies to prevent legal issues and minimize exposure for clients through proactive counsel.Stay up to date with changes in employment law to provide clients with current and effective legal advice.Qualifications:Licensed to practice law in California and in good standing with the State Bar3+ years of labor and employment law experience, including litigation and advisory workStrong legal research, writing, and analytical skillsExperience with wage and hour claims, discrimination cases, and employment contractsAbility to manage multiple cases and deadlines efficientlyExcellent communication and client advocacy skillsExperience representing clients before state and federal employment agencies is a plusTrial experience is a plus but not requiredBenefits:Competitive salary commensurate with experience.Comprehensive benefits package.Professional development and continuing education opportunities.Supportive, collaborative work environment.Great work/life balance.Low Billables 1600How to Apply: Apply online, or send your resume in confidence to jaimi.harper@gogpac.com .
