Job DescriptionJoin our team as an electrical foreman today!\n \nSalary Range: $30-$35 per hour depending on experience\nWork type: Full time\nBenefits Offered:\n\nMedical Insurance\nDental Insurance\nVision Insurance\nLife Insurance\n401(k) Matching\nPaid Vacation\nHolidays\nTraining and Safety Programs\n\n \nPurpose and Function;\n \nThe purpose of the electric foreman is to oversee electrical system install by providing guidance, direction and oversight to a crew operating at the job site. Tasks which are expected to be performed include but are not limited to;\n \n\nEnsure appropriate staffing levels are requested for the daily required tasks to be completed\nDeploy personnel as necessary and in the best interest of the existing workflow on a daily basis\nEnsure special equipment needs are requested\nInterpret job drawings to facilitate install of electrical system\nEstablish material list and ensure adequate material is ordered and on site to accommodate daily workflow\nEstablish weekly benchmark objectives towards completion of job\nEnsure project benchmarks are achieved and job schedule is maintained\nMay attend project meetings and communicate information to PM and field supervisor\nMaintain familiarity with the plans, schedule and expectations for job\nAid and oversight of safety initiatives and ensure a safe work environment for all personnel.\nThis position will be expected to promote an emphasis on creating a team oriented, positive work environment which promotes a culture of safety and open communication\nCommunicate job progress and job needs to PM\nMaintain oversight of job status and communicate anticipated problems\nEnsure inspections status; scheduled and completed\n\n \nEducation, Training and Experience:\n \n\nThis position should have experience completing project installation of electrical systems in the commercial electrical industry.\nExperience working in the field coordinating multiple tasks and functions, while providing supervision of assigned personnel is common practice.\nExperience with trade inspections, dealing with various jurisdictions and inspectors are all areas which will benefit from experience.\nAssociated trade certifications are beneficial but are not required for this position.\n\n \nPhysical and Other Requirements:\n\nMust be able to sit, bend, stoop.\nMust be able to lift items up to 50 pounds.\nMust be able to climb, crawl and squat as the job demands\n\nEmory Electric has been in business for more than 40 years and has joined with Ascension Property Services, a nationwide group of specialty trade contractors committed to serving with loyalty, consistency and expertise.
