Join the Covered California team!The Information Technology Division is recruiting for an Information Technology Specialist III to serve as Covered California’s Enterprise Data Architect. This position will provide expert-level architectural leadership for Covered California’s enterprise data ecosystem, with a focus on modernizing and simplifying data platforms, strengthening architecture standards, improving reliability and scalability, and ensuring technical solutions support trusted, governed, and secure data for organizational decision-making.The Enterprise Data Architect will work closely with IT leadership, technical teams, the Data and Insights Division, business partners, governance bodies, and external partners to assess current and future-state needs, establish enterprise data architecture principles and design patterns, and guide complex cross-functional initiatives from concept through implementation. Learn more about why you should join the Information Technology Division.Application Deadline: 6/14/2023 @ 11:59 pm PSTRequired Documents: Application, Cover Letter, and Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) Qualifications We’re Looking For:5+ years of experience developing, implementing, or leading enterprise data architecture for complex organizations, including data platforms, integrations, data models, standards, reference architectures, design patterns, or roadmaps.4+ years of experience applying data governance, data quality, privacy, security, access controls, and regulatory requirements to enterprise data environments.5+ years of experience modernizing, simplifying, or rationalizing data platforms, tools, services, or technical architecture to reduce technical debt, improve reliability, and support long-term operational sustainability.4+ years of experience leading cross-functional architecture discussions and influencing decisions among business, technical, security, operations, vendor, governance, and executive stakeholders.Relevant education, training, or certifications related to enterprise architecture, data architecture, cloud platforms, data governance, or analytics.
