Sales Development Representative (SDR)About the Opportunity: Shutterstock's Data Licensing division is accelerating its expansion across AI, technology, enterprise, and developer ecosystems. To support this growth, we are hiring a highly motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help drive pipeline generation and strategic customer engagement across high-potential markets. This role is ideal for someone excited by outbound prospecting, emerging AI technologies, and building relationships with innovative companies. As an SDR, you will play a critical role in identifying and qualifying new business opportunities while partnering closely with Account Directors to expand Shutterstock's presence across the AI and enterprise landscape. The ideal candidate is curious, proactive, highly organized, and energized by connecting with prospective customers in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.The Day to DayDevelop and execute outbound prospecting strategies across AI, technology, enterprise, and developer-focused accountsIdentify, research, and engage prospective customers through email, phone, LinkedIn, events, and other outbound channelsQualify inbound and outbound opportunities by understanding customer initiatives, business challenges, and technical use casesPartner closely with Account Executives on territory strategy, account prioritization, and pipeline developmentBuild targeted prospect lists and execute multi-threaded outreach into key accountsClearly communicate Shutterstock's Data Licensing solutions and value proposition to both technical and business audiencesMaintain strong CRM hygiene, activity tracking, and pipeline reporting within Salesforce and sales engagement toolsCollaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Partnerships, and Revenue teams to support campaign execution and lead generation initiativesContinuously test and improve messaging, outreach strategies, and prospecting effectivenessWhat You'll BringStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage professionally with senior stakeholdersInterest in AI, machine learning, data licensing, and emerging technology marketsSelf-starter mentality with strong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a high level of ownershipCurious, coachable, and a willingness to learn quicklyStrong research and problem-solving skillsCollaborative mindset and desire to contribute to a growing sales organizationComfort using modern sales technologies, CRM platforms, and AI tools to improve productivity and effectivenessPreferred QualificationsMinimum 1 years of experience in sales development, business development, recruiting, lead generation, or other customer-facing roles preferredExperience using Salesforce, Outreach, Salesloft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo or similar platformsExposure to SaaS, enterprise technology, AI, or data-related industriesProven ability to work toward performance goals and activity metricsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferredWhy Shutterstock:You have a direct impact on the success of the company. The pay range for this position is below: 80,000 - 88,000 per year in New YorkNote: Commission-eligible roles are expressed as on-target earnings (base and commission).
