The Program Assistant Manager will help coordinate and supervise activities for HOP, Boulder Paratransit, and Special Contract services. This will include scheduling staff for daily/weekly routes and coordinating vacation and sick time requests. In this role you will play an active role in hiring staff and ensuring smooth operations in the field including providing ongoing coaching and problem solving with Drivers. This role will work closely with the Boulder Program Manager.
Starting pay range for the role is $70,000-$75,000
This is a full-time position, the schedule will typically be Monday-Friday from 3:00pm-11:00 pm, but hours may vary depending on operational needs and include weekends or day shifts at times.

Qualifications:
Minimum of High school diploma or equivalent required
Education supplemented by specialized training in the transit industry and related transit experience
Minimum 3 years supervisor experience required
Strongly prefer experience with managing a high volume of employees
Experience in the hiring of employees
Strong computer skills including Microsoft and Google (Int-expert level)
Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety practices and procedures
Dependable with a strong attendance record, good attention to detail, problem-solving skills, ability to multi-task, follow-through and understanding of confidentiality
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
Interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with other employees and the public
Knowledge of the geographic and demographic service area
Must pass and maintain DOT physical, random drug testing, and ongoing Motor Vehicle Records checks.
