You'll help ensure shelter operations run smoothly, clients receive excellent service, and staff have the guidance and support they need.In This Role, You Will:Support and assist individuals and families experiencing homelessnessHelp maintain a safe, respectful, and welcoming shelter environmentServe as a mentor and resource for Shelter Support StaffAssist with onboarding and training new team membersHelp coordinate shelter operations, occupancy tracking, unit turnover, and inventory processesSupport documentation accuracy and HMIS workflowsDe-escalate conflict and respond calmly during crisis situationsConduct shelter walkthroughs and identify operational or safety concernsCommunicate important updates across shifts and departmentsStep in wherever needed to support shelter operations and client careThis role is ideal for someone who leads by example, communicates professionally, and can balance compassion with accountability.What We're Looking ForWe're seeking someone who: Has strong customer service and communication skillsCan stay composed and make sound decisions in challenging situationsEnjoys mentoring and supporting teammatesIs organized, dependable, and solution-focusedBelieves in treating every person with dignity and respectWorks well in a collaborative, team-oriented environmentSchedule & EnvironmentThis is a full-time position in a 24/7 shelter environment.
