Senior Consolidations AccountantInternational Accounting & Global Reporting FocusA growing global organization is seeking a Senior Consolidations Accountant to join its corporate accounting team and play a critical role in the worldwide financial close and reporting process. This is a highly visible position that sits at the intersection of international accounting, consolidations, foreign currency translation, and corporate finance.The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys solving complex accounting puzzles, thrives in a fast-paced multinational environment, and understands how to bring together financials across multiple global entities into one clean, accurate story.This role will have direct exposure to executive leadership, international business units, and cross-functional finance teams while supporting monthly consolidations, foreign exchange analysis, and global reporting initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesLead monthly, quarterly, and annual global consolidation processes across multiple domestic and international entitiesPrepare and review consolidation entries, eliminations, and intercompany reconciliationsManage foreign currency translation accounting, including CTA (Cumulative Translation Adjustment) calculations and FX analysisSupport multi-currency financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAPAnalyze foreign exchange impacts and partner with leadership on reporting implicationsEnsure timely and accurate consolidated financial statements and supporting schedulesPartner with international accounting teams to resolve reporting discrepancies and improve close processesAssist with technical accounting matters related to consolidations, intercompany activity, and foreign operationsSupport external audit requests and corporate reporting deliverablesIdentify process improvement opportunities within the global close and consolidation environmentIdeal BackgroundBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance3+ years of accounting experience with exposure to consolidations and international accountingPublic accounting foundation plus, though not requiredHands-on experience with:Global consolidationsCTA accountingFX translation and remeasurementIntercompany eliminationsMulti-entity reportingStrong understanding of U.S. GAAP and foreign currency accounting principlesAdvanced Excel skills and experience with large ERP systemsAbility to operate in a collaborative, deadline-driven environmentWhat Makes This Role ExcitingHigh visibility across global finance leadershipExposure to international operations and executive reportingOpportunity to own and improve critical consolidation processesBlend of technical accounting, analytics, and operational financeStrong runway for growth into corporate accounting leadership or international finance rolesThis is an outstanding opportunity for an accounting professional who wants to move beyond traditional close responsibilities and gain meaningful exposure to the financial operations of a global business.luv.mirani@roberthalf.com
