Senior Python Developer

We’re looking for a Python Engineer with experience working with Wagtail CMS to assist with an existing project for our client.We need someone who has experience architecting and developing large scale web properties who can join the project and contribute immediately.This is primarily hands on Sr. Level work coding in Python on the Django Framework. The contract is expected to include 40 hours per week and the timeline is currently open ended.Responsibilities:Hands on Python Development for Django/Wagtail CMSCollaborate with stakeholders both internal and external to understand business requirements and translate to solutions.Design and implement scalable architectureAssist with React development for the front-endQualifications:Minimum 5+ years of hands on coding with Python in the Django FrameworkStrong proficiency in architecture and designExperience working with Wagtail CMSExperience with Javascript and React is a major plus!The ability to quickly get up to speed and contribute immediately to the projectExcellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders. Ideally you have prior client facing experience.Compensation:This is a contract position with an hourly rate of up to $80 per hour paid on a C2C or 1099 basis.Independent contractors only - third party applications will not be considered at this time.
