Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.Make a meaningful impact supporting students' growth this summer as an Occupational Therapist in a school-based contract role. In this opportunity, you'll collaborate with educators and staff to deliver hands-on OT services for PreK through High School students, focusing on both social-emotional and behavioral needs, with some elementary and high school ASD involvement. Scheduled from July 6 to August 13, you'll enjoy a steady, manageable caseload and the chance to help students build valuable life skills in a supportive environment.To thrive in this position, candidates should possess:An active Massachusetts OT License (required)Previous experience working in school-based settings, particularly with PreK and High School studentsSkills supporting social-emotional, behavioral, and ASD populationsStrong interpersonal abilities for working with students, teachers, and familiesDedication to onsite-only, in-person therapy and collaborationIn this role, responsibilities will include:Delivering OT services customized for PreK students (primarily social-emotional/behavioral) and elementary/high school ASD studentsAssessing, planning, and implementing interventions as part of the student support teamCollaborating closely with teachers, staff, and administration to achieve student goalsDocumenting progress, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with all IEP requirementsBringing a positive, proactive attitude to the school communityThe position runs Monday through Thursday, 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM, providing a structured yet flexible weekday schedule with 22 hours weekly.If you're enthusiastic about making a difference in students' lives this summer and meet the qualifications, we encourage you to submit your resume and a copy of your certificate.
