Position Summary:Mozamo is seeking a candidate to provide business development support through the entire business development cycle. Tasks include identifying and maintaining a list of pursuit opportunities, attending industry events, assisting in developing client relationships, and writing proposals. This position is responsible for writing, editing and formatting proposal content, ensuring all proposal components are complaint with proposal submittal requirements, and proposals are submitted on time. Responsibilities:Monitoring, tracking, and updating the team on upcoming proposals and associated information on upcoming proposals.Writing, editing, and formatting proposal content (i.e. resumes, company bio, etc.).Ensuring all proposal components are compliant with the proposal submittal requirements.Working with the team to integrate technical information into the proposal documents.Managing, organizing, and updating resumes, project pages, and project pictures.Drafting and maintaining marketing content, including social media posts and website updates.Monitoring various industry organizations (i.e. ACEC, Cal Cities, Self-Help Counties, Caltrans, etc.) for upcoming industry events.Updating our client contact list.Contract administration and additional administrative tasks to support the Operations Manager as required. Skills and Abilities:Effective written, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team.Proficient using computer software programs in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).High degree of accuracy and attention to detailEfficiently resolves issues and conflicts.Strong organizational skills, including an ability to prioritize tasks and work with limited supervision.Ability to make good decisions using professional judgment. Minimum Qualifications:3- 5 years of experience performing business development tasks within the A&E industry.Proficient using computer software programs in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).Proven ability to meet deadlines and problem solve.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Valid California Driver's License required. Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related fieldKnowledge and experience using proposal software like InDesign to create proposals.
