Position Summary
This role is responsible for leading teams to deliver projects for all phases. Key deliverables include managing resources, schedules, financials and ensure quality control and customer satisfaction of the completed project. The operations manager also participates in the “pre-construction phase” of the project to provide constructability reviews, create schedules, review subcontractor bids, productivity reviews to ensure the project can achieve time and budgetary requirements. This role is charged with “meeting or exceeding bid day profitability targets”. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, organized, persistent, and comfortable in front of a variety of leadership levels.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties
Assumes accountability and ownership of the project(s)
Assists with the pre-construction process to provide field input and help close business
Responsible for project safety and environment programs
Sets up project reporting procedures
Understands and enforces contractual responsibilities, contract documents and dispute resolution
Ensures timely project completion through effective project scheduling, timely delivery of materials and efficient management of material and document submittals / approvals
Negotiates and issues subcontracts and major purchase orders and monitor progress
Negotiates, prepares, issues and executes change orders
Prepares and issues monthly progress reports, schedules and cost reports
Chairs and records project meetings

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in construction-related field preferred
10-15 years in construction-related experience in similar capacity preferred
5 years’ experience in BAS integration
Knowledge of building construction trades
Must possess current driver’s license
and maintain satisfactory driving record
Will be required to sign a non-disclosure / non-compete agreement

Pay
$90,000 - $125,000 Depending on qualifications and experience.
