Java Architect- AI Location: Charlotte Contract Experience: 12+ years We are seeking a seasoned Architect to define and govern technology hygiene architecture for enterprise platforms. The role requires expertise in AI/ML, Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, Agentic AI frameworks, cloud platforms, data engineering, MLOps, and enterprise integration patterns. Responsibilities Define architecture standards for security, tech hygiene, and upgrades Architect and implement GenAI, Agentic AI, and AI/ML solutions aligned with business objectives. Design scalable RAG architectures using vector databases, embeddings, and enterprise knowledge sources. Evaluate and select AI/ML platforms, LLMs, frameworks, cloud services, and development tools. Design and approve modernization and upgrade strategies Review designs impacting security posture, upgrades, and platform stability Define approved patterns for handling SAST/DAST risks architecturally Guide teams on long‑term sustainability and upgrade compatibility Mandatory Skills Java Full Stack, Python Generative AI and Large Language Models (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, etc.) RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) Agentic AI frameworks (LangGraph, LangChain, AutoGen, Semantic Kernel, Microsoft Agent Framework) Vector Databases Cloud Platforms: Azure, AWS, or GCP Machine Learning and Deep Learning fundamentals Desirable Skills Copilot Studio MC Pay: $65.00 - $70.00 per hour Work Location: In person
