What You'll Do
Lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable ServiceNow solutions
Build and enhance workflows that improve service delivery and operational efficiency
Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and IT leadership to translate requirements into technical solutions
Drive adoption of best practices and out-of-the-box functionality to reduce complexity and improve long-term sustainability
Ensure solutions are secure, maintainable, and aligned with platform governance standards
Support a 24/7 on-call rotation as part of operational coverage
Technical Leadership & Influence
While this role does not include direct people management, it plays a critical role in technical leadership through expertise and influence.
In this role, you will:
Serve as a senior technical expert and trusted advisor for the ServiceNow platform
Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to ServiceNow developers
Influence architecture, design decisions, and engineering best practices
Partner with stakeholders to shape solutions and drive platform adoption
Elevate team capability through collaboration, knowledge sharing, and coaching
What You Bring:
Required
5-8+ years of experience with the ServiceNow platform
Strong hands-on development experience (JavaScript, Glide, APIs, workflows, integrations)
Experience mentoring or guiding technical teams in Agile or hybrid environments
Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable solutions
Strong understanding of platform governance, data models, and performance optimization
Knowledge of secure development practices and application security principles
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) with current Delta certifications
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field strongly preferred, or equivalent years of additional experience
Experience in healthcare or highly regulated environments
Additional ServiceNow certifications (e.g., CIS, CAD)
ITIL Certification
Experience working with enterprise integration frameworks and automation initiatives
Experience with PeopleSoft, Sale Point, or EPIC
