Job Summary and ResponsibilitiesAs a Sr Medical Receptionist, you will be the welcoming heart of our clinic, creating a comforting and efficient environment for every patient journey.Every day, you will expertly manage patient reception, coordinate essential administrative tasks, leverage technology for seamless operations, and thoughtfully guide diverse patient populations, ensuring they feel at ease and understand their care instructions.To be successful in this role, you will possess exceptional interpersonal skills, technological proficiency, genuine compassion for patient well-being, and an adaptable, patient approach to facilitating a positive experience for all.Performs various clerical duties to include: Maintain departmental deposit logs, prepare routine schedules and reports, utilize analytical skills necessary to maintain provider schedulesEnsures positive customer service atmosphere and interactions in reception areasAnswers the telephone in a pleasant and helpful mannerCoordinate patient movement, reports problems or irregularitiesWorking knowledge of multi-line phonesWorking knowledge of computers, fax/copy machinesJob RequirementsREQUIRED* High School Diploma / GED* Basic computer skillsPREFERRED* Previous medical office and/or insurance experience* Bilingual skillsWhere You'll WorkHello humankindness Dignity Health Medical Group is the employed physician group of Dignity Health Arizona.
