Experienced Part Time/Full Time Certified Medical Assistant

Doctor's office in the Hyde Park area is looking for a full time/part time certified medical assistant. We are a very busy and fast paced podiatric clinic. Medical office experience is required . Responsibilities for a medical assistant include but not limited to: Rooming patients, taking patients history, assisting with procedures, X-rays, manual blood pressure, charting, filing, answering phones, scheduling, restocking rooms. Daily /weekly clean of rooms and office. Daily cleaning of restrooms and taking out trash. Documenting allergy, vitals and medication information in the EHR system. Able to follow HIPPA and OSHA standards The medical assistant must have reliable transportation, be proficient in basic medical terminology, able to squat to the floor several times a day and able to ambulate patients from wheel chair to treatment chair. The medical assistant needs to go to web site to view hours and location of office.
